Kentucky Fried Chicken

Kentucky Fried Chicken began during the Depression in a small Kentucky gas station by Colonel Harland Sanders. The Colonel’s blend of 11 herbs and spices soon gained popularity until more branches were opened. Ultimately, the Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant chain was founded in 1952. As more and more people discovered the flavorful food served at KFC, the restaurant chain began to grow until today there are more than 5,200 restaurants in America and over 15,000 stores around the world.

Today the menu comprises original recipe, extra crispy, grilled, and honey BBQ chicken as well as an assortment of sides, sandwiches and desserts. For international restaurants additional menu items include kebabs, pork ribs and regional food items.
