Talk is Cheap… Unless You Are Still Using Ma Bell!

The Number 1 Reason to Swap to VoIP

VoIP UserNo one likes to spend money unnecessarily! I mean, would you intentionally spend $20 more for the same exact item even though you could get it for less but from another vendor, just because that’s what you have always done? Of course not! After all, you are a frugal shopper and want to make the most of your hard-earned paycheck. So, you look around for the best deals, look for ways to employ extreme couponing, learn to rebate, and make changes to your lifestyle so you can get the most from your money. And, with a bit of research, you can make a huge dent in the amount you spend!

So, if you are looking for more ways to save money on everyday expenses, here is one of the more recent ways to put extra money in bank account- Swapping your landline to VoIP.  Standing for Voice-over Internet Protocol, VoIP has been around now since the turn of the century, and has become a common method of phone service since 2004. In its early days, there were many who felt it was an ineffective method of phone communication, but as advancements in knowledge and technology have occurred, VoIP providers have overcome the assorted issues and today VoIP is one of the fastest growing trends in communication.

So, what is VoIP, you may ask. VoIP works by using your existing broadband Internet connection to make phone calls. So, rather than paying Ma Bell and her associates local and long distance rates that are continually rising for phone service, you pay a flat rate to your Internet provider for better service with more features. These standard features include:

  • Caller ID
  • Three-way calling
  • E911 Service
  • Anonymous Call Block
  • Advanced Call Forwarding
  • Area Code Selection
  • Telemarketer Call Block
  • Voicemail
  • VoIP Virtual Numbers
  • Do Not Disturb
  • Multi-Ring
  • International Call Block
  • Distinctive Ringing
  • Local Number

In addition, for a nominal fee, you can have a toll free number, making it perfect if you are a business owner. Whether you are a business owner wanting to improve your bottom line or a homeowner, wanting to reduce the monthly expenses, VoIP is one of the best ways to lower your costs. If you are unsure about which of the VoIP providers would be best for your needs, check out sites like VoIP reviews  and learn how Internet phone service can benefit you.

Of course, the most attractive reason for swapping to Internet phone service is the cost! Rather than paying $40 or month for phone service, you can pay as little as $25-depending on whether or not you ask for additional features or lines. So, why not take a few moments to see how VoIP can benefit you? It is one of the easiest ways out there to save money and requires no extra work other than a phone call or website visit! 1. I've seen a lot of people in my circle of friends switch to a variety of different internet phone services. The "classic" phone packages seem to be going extinct, albeit slowly. I myself have been using Skype over the past week as my girlfriend went on a trip for the month across the country. I never realized how cool of a program it is, and free if you are only using basic features like video and Skype calling. I would expect Voip to be able to break into this online telephone business pretty easily, as it has only really begun! 25 dollars is very inexpensive as well!
