Staging
One of my favorite things to do is scrapbook. In fact, I have been “scrapping” since I was in high school. However, scrapbooking has come a long way since my early days of using whatever stickers, colored pens and pencils, standard notebooks, scissors (usually my mom’s old pair of pinking shears) and the standard construction paper. Today, there are aisles of scrapbooking supplies, custom photo printing services, hundreds of sticker companies, special pens, embossing tools and many other items available for making your scrapbooks works of art. However, with these advancements has come a serious increase in the cost of the product.
Fortunately, with a little bit of time and items like online coupons, the Attractions and Dining Books/Entertainment Books, and Hallmark and even Oriental Trading Company, hobbies can still be enjoyed without breaking the budget. Quite often, you can get deals on shipping costs, buy one get one free products, members only savings and other perks like scrapbooking tips, page layouts and even the opportunity to be a product tester.
Of course, there are many other hobbies that can be costly to enjoy. Whether it is hiking boots (see Sierra Trading Post) for you next wilderness adventure, reading, designing your next party gown (see Joann or Hancock) or whatever activity you love to pursue in your free time, you are likely able to find a coupon that can make the activity that more enjoyable.
